The position Senior Software Engineer I for Radiometer is located in Bengaluru and will be On-site. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.
You will be a part of the IT Solutions Support team and report to Engineering Manager & will be responsible for providing technical solutions to customers using our products. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work with our field IT specialists globally to ensure our solutions are up and running 24/7. This requires deep technical knowledge combined with a motivation for solving complex issues.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and perform root cause analysis leading to problem resolution, not just in SW, but in complete solution seen from customer perspective
- Mentor lower-level team members on their technical queries
- Training new L1 support team on-line or onsite
- Collaborate within &/or cross teams to participate & contribute in process improvements
The essential requirements of the job include:
- More than 5 years of experience in IT industry as technical support, technical trouble shooter/bug fixer.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you thrive on solving complex technical problems and very good understanding on Microsoft Windows Server OS (Ex: IIS), general computer software & network systems.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL server & able to interpret complex SQL Queries and Stored procedures
- Experience with NextGen Connect (formerly known as Mirth Connect) building HL7v2 interfaces & in-depth knowledge of ADT, ORM, and ORU messages
- Strong customer focus and ability to interact with customers across the different regions in the world. Team oriented with ability to manage critical tasks and meet deadlines as independent worker, detail oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks at once and be able to maintain professionalism under pressure.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Knowledge on a ticketing tool (Ex: CRM) is an added advantage
- Experience with medical device SW or experience from health care section is an advantage
- Basic knowledge on any programming knowledge (Ex: C#)
