Solution Architect is responsible for providing pre-sales support for sales opportunities through delivery of technical presentations and demonstrations, development and delivery of workshops/seminars, creation and delivery of proof of concept systems that demonstrate ETL/BI? technical solutions and positively impact a sales opportunity. The Senior Solution Architect is expected to possess an excellent understanding of, and address questions regarding designated ETL/BI products, competition, implementation, support and training during sales situations. The Senior Solution Architect is also expected to assist in the timely closure of sales opportunities by effectively executing plans developed in conjunction with sales and technical team members involved in the account.

Minimum Requirements

Requirements:Technical1). A current working knowledge of two or more of the following:and#1545;ETL product. (DS)and#1545;ETL / BI Enterprise Planning Product (CEP including Consolidation)and#1545;OLAP design and development methodology.and#1545;RDBMS and ETL technology in the context of data warehousing.and#1545;Practical knowledge of competitive OLAP, End User Reporting and Analysis tools.and#1545;Web Technologiesand#1545;Scorecarding (BSC, Six Sigma)and#1545;Budgeting and Planning processand#1545;Financial Consolidation processand#1545;Financial Reporting2). Practical experience with at least one of the following environments:and#1545;Solaris, HPUX or IBM AIXand#1545;MS Windows NT 4.0, MS Windows 2000, MS Windows XPand#1545;Web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, XML and XSLT3). Flexible attitudes to working hours, environment and working away from home are pre-requisites for this role. In addition to those items defined for the Solution Architect, the following are key responsibilities for a Senior Solution Architect:and#1545;To be capable of fully responding to the technical requirements of RFI/RFP, both professionally and within the required time scale. As a senior person, he or she is expected to take ownership of providing technical solution, together with services team.and#1545;To regularly develop prototype systems and customised solutions that demonstrate the complete ETL/BI message successfully within a range of business areas.and#1545;To develop a high degree of specialisation in designated product areas and obtain product certification of these products.and#1545;To demonstrate ability to explain CPM concept and overall ETL/BI product suite (high level). This includes ability to do high-level presentation and product demonstration of entire product suite in ETL/BI.and#1545;To proactively provide presales and technical training in areas of expertise to other ETL/BI employees and partnersand#1545;To positively promote ETL/BI and it''s products at all times both internally and externally.and#1545;To stay fully conversant and up-to-date with product developments and enhancements, particularly in their areas of responsibility.and#1545;To take the initiative in maintaining their skills through attendance at professional groups, reading and/or training courses.and#1545;To maintain a good knowledge of industry trends, competitive products and appropriate winning strategies.To seek out opportunities to assist other pre-sales solution architects in improving product knowledge and sales awareness, also, to take the initiative in training new sales reps and other employees in ETL/BI products and company philosophy.
