Job Summary
Role Purpose
The HR Business Partner develops and implements HR Strategic solutions that aligns with business needs and
expectations. The individual works closely with Country Director to provide advice on People, recruitment, and
team related issues, manage and execute all areas of the employee life cycle. He will be the key person in building
the team for the Business need. He/She will closely work the UK and other country HRB to learn and implement
best HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for HR India operations and organization development
Support Chennai staff to succeed in a global matrix management structure and to build strong team
Strong employee engagement support - leading the charge on a new build organization to connect
employees and create a warm, engaging working environment
Ensure adherence to relevant employment legislation, group policies and processes
Ensure that the basics are right (legal compliance, HR data integrity)
Supporting local managers in coaching and mentoring
Lead office administration and recruitment team to fulfill the business need.
Work closely with UK technology Stakeholders to build an team in India
Local support for ER matters - disciplinary, grievance, sickness, and capability issues to minimize ER cases
and associated cost.
Support the identification, development, and retention of talent within the Company, and when required,
deliver training programmes and messages.
Support, contribute to and implement Global HR initiatives and internal projects in conjunction with HR
colleagues across the business.
Ensure all PDPs (Performance Development Plans) are collated on a timely basis and ensure objectives have
been set by Line Managers for all staff which are SMART and clear.
Support compensation and performance management processes
Lead on local on-boarding/induction activities
