About the role

Cvent is looking for a brilliant Video Editing Designer with strong aesthetic sense and designing skills to work on the Cvent CMS software and mobile app and create videos for clients Event Registration websites. The person should be a SME and must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to be able to communicate and understand requirements with overseas clients independently.

The person should be willing to work in the night shift (US hours) and must have a zeal to perform in a fast-paced environment along with willingness to thrive for an award-winning career.

Work Timings- East Coast (6:30 PM 3:30 AM IST)

Currently, this role requires to work from home till we resume back to office.

What You Will Be Doing

The personnel would take full responsibilities to/for:

Be able to understand the clients design requirement through direct communication channels (email, verbal or telephonic communication) and conceptualize the desired feel and look for the video to be created

Gather and transfer all forms of media into the video editing software and ensure that the inputs are updated in the correct format

Must know computer editing systems and equipment used for video media and effects

Improve the video and sound quality of the content using various video software

Edit video to trim, add intro/outro, effects and transitions, preselected music, interviews, sound clips, branding and other important aspects of the project

Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client's specifications

Find necessary tweaks and workarounds while working with technically restricted CMS environment

Must be a SME who acts as a project manager and maintains strong communication with clients/internal stakeholders

Ensure best possible customer experience that fits and contributes to the broader Cvent ecosystem of products

Make managerial decisions whenever required and act as a team player by providing excellent design solution while being an individual contributor

Drive actions to the closer and ensure a solution to a problem by going extra miles, if needed.

What You Will Need for this Position

Bachelor's degree in film editing or related degree is required

Expert of video and audio editing software and programs

Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously

Knowledge of editing various video projects and adding sound effects, music and transitions

Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation

Collaborate with other creative professionals to supply top-notch finalized products to clients

Must have Technical Skills and Experience

Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, preferably, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Bridge
Strong sense of color combination, aesthetics, typography, interactivity, etc.
Knowledge of Final Cut Pro is a plus
Should have knowledge of motion graphics/Text animation
Should have strong knowledge of all video and audio formats
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills

Qualification

5 - 9 years of experience in Video editing/computer-aided design role
Bachelors degree is a must
Preference would be given to candidates holding Bachelors degree in multimedia/web development/graphic design/Applied Art or the similar courses
