Job Summary

TheHR Systems Analyst will work out of Gurugram, India, as an individual contributor and a team member fostering a deep partnership and highly productive relationship between IT and Human Resources / Finance business teams.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with HR and Payroll to facilitate technical design from approved functional requirements.
  • Assist design sessions during solution implementation and provide support during testing.
  • Function as Tier-1 support to the Workday solution (respond to Stakeholders' requests).
  • Provide support for integrations and configurations, including analyzing and troubleshooting issues. Conduct sessions with business and functional leads to help build a comprehensive test plan.
  • Incorporate regression testing to ensure the existing system works as expected. Support manual user acceptance testing with leads globally to ensure the enhanced process flows and system updates conform to approved requirements and validation of integration outputs, as applicable.
  • Report continuous status of activities, projects, and roadmap items.
  • Create and maintain all training and support materials, including quick guides, technical documentation & presentations etc.
  • Help to maintain business process configurations in Workday and identify opportunities to alter or improve business processes and configuration to enhance or simplify/standardize current procedures/processes.
  • Participate in the review, development, testing and implementation of bi-annual Workday releases; determine impact, participate in regression testing for new system features and communication of changes/benefits to stakeholders
  • Research and participate in Workday community to stay informed on the latest Workday tool sets functionality improvements. Resolve issues where answers are unknown and implement Community recommended solutions.
  • Facilitate creation and maintenance of training documentations by working alongside business stakeholders

Candidate Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 1-3 year's Workday experience with medium to large enterprise organizations.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and via written communications effectively.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter and demonstrate intent & ability to follow through on all duties.
  • Candidate must also display keen aptitude towards self-learning and growth.
  • Basic knowledge of HCM. Additional knowledge would be preferred in at least one of the following modules: Absence, Benefits, Talent, Time Tracking, and/or Advanced Compensation.
  • Basic knowledge on REST APIs, SOAP APIs, XML and XSLT Calculated fields, data migrations and tenant management.
  • Should have basic knowledge on Integration Security.
  • Hands-on experience on Workday Business objects/ Data sources and Workday Reporting is preferred.
  • Operational knowledge of the HR processes would be preferable.
  • Knowledge of project/case management using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, Salesforce CRM etc.
