Job Description
Key roles & responsibilities of the role Include (but are not limited to):
-Project Management & Ownership
o Lead complete workstreams of research projects and manage entire lifecycle of projects (planning, coordination, execution, communication)
o Monitor overall quality of deliverables and project progress
o Ensure adherence to internal & external SLAs
o Pre-empt challenges and raise red flags before time along with possible solutions
o Be a thought driver and take complete ownership of tasks & projects
o Be independent in managing projects & tasks with minimum intervention from managers
-Mentoring & Coaching
o Act as a mentor and coach to team members, impart real time domain, process & project knowledge and share constructive feedback
o Partner with Managers to understand strong points and development areas of each team member and work on those
-Process Improvement/Enhancement & Innovation
o Focus on bringing improvements in existing processes and achieve efficiency gains
o Drive process re-engineering within current projects
-Communication
o Ensure effective and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders
o Communicate effectively during meetings and other forums and act as the face of Project/Workstream
o Track project progress periodically and report the same to leadership
-Ensure robust Team/Project Goals tracking and reporting, KPI management
Skill set Required
Research professional with excellent secondary research skills
Excellent project management skills and ability to translate business requirements into actionable project priorities, along with KPIs, goals, effort and timelines
Proficient in MS Office, knowledge of SQL and Tableau will be an added advantage
Ability to quickly develop understanding of domain and business process
Good innovative thinking abilities and solution-oriented approach to work
Effective communicator with excellent relationship building & interpersonal skills
Ability to identify development/training needs and mentor & coach people accordingly
Ability to understand the link between business needs, data and its application
Prior exposure to the hospitality industry will be an added advantage
Work-Experience & Education
6 to 8 years of relevant work experience in research
Minimum 3 years team management and mentoring individuals
Educational Qualification - Post Graduate (PGDM/MBA preferred)Physical Demands Notice
