Linux System Administrator Job in Cue Blocks Technologies Pvt. Ltd

We are on the lookout for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in server administration, OS troubleshooting knowledge and maintaining the overall health of the company s network and servers. As our Linux Admin, you ll be responsible for:

• Installing, configuring, supporting and maintaining servers ( In-house & Client )
• Installing and configuring new hardware and software
• Monitoring Servers
• Responsibility for server security
• Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing environments.
• Performing backups
• System performance tuning
• Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems
• Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
• Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
• Answering technical queries and dealing with users
• Research, test, and implement new hardware and software
• Troubleshooting any reported problems
• Code deployment from SVN / GIT to Dev / Staging / Production servers
• Installing / configuring / troubleshooting PC provided to team members
• Managing Hardware Firewall, routers, VPN etc
• Communication with the client's hosting company
• Suggesting required servers based on the project requirements

Desirable skills:

• Self-starter who is highly motivated, detail oriented, flexible and willing to follow the directions given by his/her superior.
• Ready to learn new things and apply the latest technologies that would help the organization to grow.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work well under tight deadline environment
• Red Hat certification is mandatory
• 4+ years of experience running Linux infrastructure
