Job Summary
Must Have
- 3 - 5 Yrs of Experience in building scalable cloud based web applications on Ruby On Rails Framework.
- Extensive experience with Rails
- Strong knowledge in OOPS concepts and Design Patterns
- Experience with MongoDB , SQL or comparable relational database systems.
- Proficiency in building data visualizations and Hands on with behavior-driven development with RSpec.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript based UI frameworks like JQuery, AngularJS, React would be a plus.
- Good front-end knowledge including HTML5, CSS.
- Uses Git for source code management.
- Knowledge and use of RESTful coding.
- Continuous Deployment - Writing new application features so they can be deployed with zero downtime.
- Strong ability to articulate architectures and problem statements.
Good to have
- Working Knowledge on any one of Cloud Platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google.
- Knowledge of handling and management of load-balancing and high availability systems and data replications across multiple data-centres
- Experience working with ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana
- Experience with any Graph Database like Neo4J
- Experience working with Docker container , Kubernete
Plus Points
- Prior experience working in a fast paced startup environment
- Domain knowledge in the financial/data space
- Any external, relevant certifications
- Hands on knowledge of deployment and monitoring tools
