  • Master sdegreeinengineeringormanagementdisciplineandbachelor sdegreeinengineering.
  • Aminimumof7years workexperienceinprocurementandcontractmanagementofpublicworksrelatedtoinfrastructureandinvestments.Sectoralexperiencein SWMandworkingwithlocalgovernmentsinIndiaorotherSouthAsiancountriesinthepastwillbepreferred.
  • Indepthknowledgeandunderstandingoftechnical,commercialandlegalaspectsofprocurementindevelopment projects,financedbythegovernmentanditsdevelopmentpartners.
  • Preferablywell-acquaintedwiththeWorldBank sProcurementRegulationsfor IPFBorrowers,July2016(RevisedNovember2017,August2018andNovember2020)andSTEPrequirements.WorkingknowledgeofanyGePNICbasede-procurementsystemisdesired.
  • FluencyinreadingandspeakinginMalayalamispreferred.
  • Indepthknowledgeofprocurementpractices(useofinternationallyacceptedcontractdocumentsforworks, goodsandservices,soundunderstandingofprinciplesunderlyinggoodprocurementpracticesandinternational agencies.
  • ExperiencewithlargemultilateralfundedprojectssuchasWB,ADB,amongothersarehighlydesired.
  • ExcellentIT/computerskillsincludingMSOffice(Word,Excel,Powerpointetc.)arerequired.
