Job Summary

Requirements

We are looking for Test Engineers, who will be responsible to build and execute test cases and maintain them through constant evaluation, including in regression test suite for newly integrated features. You will be based in Chennai and work closely with Software Developers and other engineers to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.

You come with:

  • Good analytical skills and knowledge of QA concepts and practices

  • Experience in coding language - JAVA or Python

Experience in automation - Selenium Webdriver/TestNG/Cucumber Framework

  • Proven ability to translate functional requirements and use cases into working test plans and test cases

  • Experience in API, Web Application and Database/ETL testing

  • Design and development skills in Java or any other scripting language

  • Knowledge of defect management processes


You will help:

  • Independently analyse and prepare test cases with optimal coverage

  • Develop, execute and manage test plans and test cases with a strong emphasis on quality and adherence to timeline

  • Analyse and communicate test results in project scrum meetings

  • Work with the development and product management teams to design and implement test and validation strategies

Identify, develop and execute comprehensive automation suite and continuously improve test efficiency
Explore new tools and technologies and implement automation whereever required to reduce redundant testing effort
Liaise with development team to report on test and defect metrics and identify bugs

  • Debug identified bugs and keep track until closure
