Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain Manual test suite, employing positive and negative testing techniques, for service functionality, monitoring, integration, performance, resiliency, security, scalability, and reliability of Application under test.
  • Strong knowledge in Testing process/methodologies
  • Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, code paths, and overall behavioural characteristics of the services you test.
  • Apply software optimization techniques to redesign and augment existing automated tests, reducing technical debt for software test.
  • Design, Execute and analyze automation test scripts & test results for Web applications & mobile apps
  • Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using JIRA
  • Support during production deployment of applications and perform validation testing during the off-hours maintenance window


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Must demonstrate an understanding of Manual Testing, Defect Lifecycle and test automation frameworks
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically QA processes in an agile development environment Experience in testing cross-platform applications
  • Should have worked in an Agile based team
  • Expertise practical knowledge of automated testing tools Selenium & Appium
  • 1+ years of work experience in Test Automation
  • Hands on Experience in Automation Tools like selenium, TestNG, Maven etc.
  • And should be acquaintance with open source tools like selenium grid and Jenkins.
  • Proficient working with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
  • Knowledge & Experience on JIRA tool is a must
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
