Responsibilities for Purchasing associate
- Manage the purchasing process including the buying, selling, and distributions aspects of the company
- Review new project proposals for the company
- Communicate with the marketing and sales team to effect working strategies
- Analyze existing purchasing processes for performance
- Implement improvements to existing purchasing processes and delivery systems
- Handle contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers
- Identify ideal suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
- Maintain a good rapport with the company's clientele
Qualifications for Purchasing Manager - Master's degree in a related field preferred
- Prior experience working in the purchasing department in the same industry required
- Strong understanding of the market conditions and trends
- Working knowledge of negotiation techniques in the industry
- Exceptional interpersonal and social skills to build a good rapport
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great team player
- Flexible to travel and work long hours as necessary
Minimum qualification requirement
Preferred - Purchase Executive skill with 1+ years experience
Required - Located in Coimbatore
Required - Good command over Hindi
