Sr. Qa Engineer Job in Contis Group Ltd

Job Overview :

We are seeking experienced and driven Snr QA Engineers to join our growing team. As part of the Testing team and as an Integration/Automation Test Engineer, you will have the opportunity to learn appropriate testing techniques/instruments and develop the scripts to run automated tests. You will also be exposed to new quality management tools, defect tracking tools, project management software and API Testing tool along with the expertise in automation script.

Responsibilities & Duties :

• Responsible for manual and automation testing of all Contis Products (Mainline products or internal systems)
• Prepare Test Cases and review of Test cases prepared by team members.
• Mentor team to grow their functional and technical knowledge required to delivery best quality.
• Ensure zero defect releases.
• Provide UAT support to UK Staff.
• Work on investigations, issue replication, answering Skipton team and client queries.
• Testing of systems after any hosting infrastructure changes.
• Ensure that testing processes are well defined and followed by team to delivery best quality.
• Prepare next line of junior member(s) in team to take care of work related to QA team in presence/absence of self.
• Work closely with QA Lead/Manager and QA team members to ensure everything goes as per planned timelines and with expected quality.
• Good analytical and logical reasoning skills.

• Possess the ability to improve upon continuously.
• Self-motivated, team player, action, and result oriented.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and function well under pressure.

Skills & Knowledge Required :

• Experienced in deriving and executing all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle in Testing and quality assurance, writing Test Cases, executing Test Scripts both manual and automated testing.
• Proven experience in testing enterprise systems with heterogeneous environment like Web Based Systems, Schedulers, APIs, Bulk File Processing, Windows services, Bulk SMS, Bulk Emails and Mobile Apps etc.
• Good experience on database level testing using SQL Queries (Insert, Update, Select, Joins)
• Analyse new features and write & maintain functional, system test cases against them.
• Work in the framework of an automated test infrastructure in a clean and disciplined way
• Report defects in a clear and concise manner, proactive identification of risks and be prepared to support the team in troubleshooting the root cause.
• Ensure product meets all relevant specifications and Nuance quality standards.
• Experience working in an agile environment would be plus.
• In depth knowledge of testing methodologies, processes and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and logical skills.
• Good understanding of software methodology.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• At least 1 year of experience of Automation Testing tools like Selenium WebDriver/Grid, Appium and JMeter.
• Exposure on other automated testing tools would be a plus.
• Exposure on Product testing along with branching/merging would be a plus.
• Work experience with Security/Performance testing tool would be plus.
• Knowledge on financial/banking domain is preferred.
