Technical Consultant -commvault With Netbackup - L4 Job in Computacenter

What you ll do Perform a range of technical work activities remotely to meet business and customer requirements. Escalate issues in line with company processes to ensure customer demands are met Able to communicate on issues to meet business and customer requirements to avoid escalations. Provide customer service to internal and external customers to ensure consistent experience. Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic team environments to maintain consistent effective contribution. Ensure Department/Contract meets SLA performance targets. Maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels. Understand and adhere to policies and procedures. Keep skills up to date with IT industry standards as appropriate to the role/contract. What you ll need Experience with 8 to 13 years Tools: Commvault, NetBackup, Data Protector,Netapp, Brocade Ticket tool: BMC Monitoring: INCINGA Many years of experience in the administration of Backup systems in the enterprise environment Commvault, NetBackup, Data Protector, Brocade Confident handling of management consoleand administration tools of Backup systems Experience in monitoring Backup and storage systems Good knowledge of SAN (++) Relevant vendor certifications Experience in StoreOnce. Nice to have Experience with multi-vendor Backup and storage systems Experience in Commvault v10 & v11 and NetBackup Latest Versions. Experience in Commvault and NetBackup Designing & Implementation. Experience in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning Experience with data protection and backup recovery solutions familiarity such as using virtual tape, disk to disk to tape, data replication. Document and implement changes to technical standards as required. Experience with DASH copy, AUX copy, Snap vault copy, Backup, Restore, Archive and Retrieve client data. Experience in VMware, Hyper-V, SQL, Oracle, Exchange, Filesystem, NDMP, CIFS, NFS, Snapshot Backup & Recovery. Understanding of License management. Creation and management of Storage policies, Schedules, Device libraries, Storage Pools and reports. Experience in setting up Deduplication and DDB troubleshooting. Good Experience with IntelliSnap backup, Transport modes, CV snap management. Providing support to the backup infra, daily backups, data recovery and all associated operation task. Install, configure, and maintain Backup and recovery systems based on Commvault and NetBackup. Experience in version and Service pack upgrade. Work and resolve all escalated backup related issue within service target. Root cause analysis/Problem Management/Capacity Management. SOP preparation and Review, Knowledge sharing and documentation. Investigate, identify and document proposals that will improve application recoverability. Ensure that customer satisfactory levels are exceeded. Actively and pre-emptively determine possible faults and causes by the execution of pre-determined health and operational checks. Experience in managing tape libraries and Cloud libraries for Archiving. Experience in migration.
