Role Purpose:

The candidate is meant to be acting as subject matter expert in voice vertical of Kenan billing. The one who can manages process documentation, works individually on voice improvements and act as a subject matter expert of rating configuration and suspense management. The candidate would be responsible to take care any change brought in billing does not impact the existing voice process. Person would be responsible to train the operations team on the changes in process.

Key accountabilities

Involvement in the design or modification ofKenansystem. Interacts with thebusinessstakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and needs. Gathers, documents, and analysesbusinessneeds and requirements.

  • Run independently the voice improvement initiatives to handle the root cause of suspense in billing. This would include but is not limited to automation, engaging other teams etc.

  • Represent billing team in various Colt projects, billing projects, and minor enhancements analyse the impact on usage rating to avoid suspense and ensure accuracy of rating.

  • Ensure that the billing requirements are fulfilled in the project, review designs for changes to billing and other systems and processes that impact billing.

  • To acquire a good working knowledge of the different Colt country voice configuration and products offered.

  • Update process documents, train users, and provide post go-live support

Role specific requirements

Skills & Experience

Mandatory Skills

  • Good understanding of Kenan architecture, usage, configurations and tables
  • Kenan Billing System 2.x and above (preferably 4.x) of Amdocs, Kenan Arbor/BP
  • Experience in standard voice products like IN billing, Voice, VoIP, billing etc.
  • Converting business requirements to technical specifications and vice versa
  • 3-5 Years of total experience with minimum 3 years of relevant telecom billing in usage area including and destination/discount configuration.
  • Hands-on experience in SQL, Microsoft Excel.
  • Business Analyst / Project Management

Desirable Skills

  • Technical and functional knowledge of other retail billing systems, wholesale billing systems and Mediation systems
  • Experience as business analyst or data migration specialists in billing implementation projects

  • Good communication including high-level of spoken English & good document writing skill.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines.
  • Strong inter-personal skills, with experience of facilitation / negotiation
  • Self-disciplined and focused with good time-management and multi-tasking skills
