Expert System Engineer (windows) Job in Colruyt Group

Who are we looking for?

• A true Windows system engineer wanting to build a long-term career at Colruyt at its location based out at Hyderabad.
• A clear communicator in English and a team player.
• An Engineering graduate in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institute with overall 8 - 10 years experience in IT environment with last 6-7 year in system administration & engineering on Windows:
• With the following skillsets:
  • As a team member of the "Windows Servers" team you are involved in the day-to-day operational management (2nd and 3rd line) of the windows server Infrastructure and projects to optimize the further expansion of our Infrastructure and to guarantee integrations.
  • Provisioning/ De-provisioning /delivery of Windows Servers (2012/2008 R2/2016 as per business need).
  • Update the Windows Servers environment with required patches/fixes as released by Microsoft and with system software as a monthly cycle.
  • Provide several services/infrastructure on the Windows Servers Platform, e.g. File and (secure) Print services, System Centre Configuration Manager, access control, security policies, antivirus and antivirus policies, license services, group policy management for server objects.
• In addition, the "Windows Servers" Team is also responsible for the printer infrastructure, the file server infrastructure etc.
  • Server installations (OSD, SCCM, ..)
  • Environment monitoring (OMI)
  • Filesystem management
  • Implementation and follow-up of backups (NetBackup)
  • Initiate, define, realize and implement own projects.
  • A few examples of projects:
  • Optimize the ILM process of Windows Servers
  • Upgrade Windows 2019/2016
  • Upgrade of security printing environment
  • Replacing Multi Functional Printers
  • Introducing Sophos Antivirus and Ransomware protection for Windows Servers
  • Upgrade SCCM environment to the latest version
  • Introduction of Windows Clustering (FileServers, SQLServer, ...)
  • For the delivery of windows servers you work closely with other system engineers (databases, application servers, networks, ...)
  • Knowledge of programming in PowerShell is a plus
• With the following skills that can give you an added advantage:
  • Backup , Storage, and VmWare
  • Microsoft SCCM 2007/2012 Infrastructure (configuring & managing), WSUS & OSD
  • Windows clustering
  • One or more antivirus software/system (e.g. McAfee/Sophos/Symantec)
  • Remote administration tools (e.g. DameWare), Disk and file management tools (e.g. TreeSize), Windows Sysinternals
  • Basic administration in VMware
  • Backup and recovery (Symantec)
  • Microsoft Certification in Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
  • Working experience on Service Now tool

  • Domain Name System (DNS) for Active Directory (e.g. Zones & records, DNS server settings, Zone transfers and replication, )
  • Active Directory (AD) concepts (e.g. Forest, domain, trusts & sites, AD replication, AD Roles and Services, AD objects, AD maintenance, )
  • Windows network infrastructure and services (e.g. IP addressing, DHCP, routing, RAS, )
  • Windows File and Print Services
    • File and print services
    • DFS and DFS replication
  • Monitoring on the Windows platform (event, log, performance)
  • ITIL processes Change, Incident and Problem.
