What you will be doing...

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for building and maintaining a frictionless path to production for web applications and Big data applications in order to support continuous delivery and a productive team. In addition, you will also train and coach the team.

• Working in an agile cross-functional team with other talented developers.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of all the features working with the Product Owner
• Ensure good coding practices are followed and have knowledge of test driven development.
• Ensure that the code you write meet our quality standards
• Optimize code for speed and scalability
• Monitoring uptime and performance of product features owned by your team
• Collaborate with team members to resolve blockers and maintain our feature shipping speed

What we are looking for....

• 6-8 years of experience in DevOps
• B-Tech/BE degree with specialization in computer science or equivalent degree

Must have

3 years of experience in:

• AWS, CI /CD - Jenkins, GitlabCI, etc
• Configuration Management - Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc
• BigData platforms - Kafka, Spark/ Apache Flink
• Virtualization and Cloud - VMWare, Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes etc
• Testing - Continuous Testing in CI / CD pipeline

Good to have:

• Programming/Application Development - Java, NodeJS, Scala, GoLang
• Database - MongoDB, Mysql, Oracle, SQL etc
• Monitoring - Infra and Application monitoring, logging, alerting using ELK or Splunk
• Scripting - bash, ruby, python etc
