Job Summary
  • Development of new web applications
  • Maintenance of existing web applications
  • Writing server-side web application logic in Ruby
  • Create back-end components
  • Connect the application with the other web services and APIs exposed by other s/w products
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Should be able to develop a website from scratch using Rails and various gems.
  • Should be able to develop a web application with authentication using devise gem Developed and maintained View layer of MVC
  • Should be able to develop with authentication mechanisms such as OAUTH2, JWT
  • Should design and implement database architecture for applications using various databases (Mysql, MongoDB and Postgresql)
  • Should have strong experience in making modularable, reusable, maintainable codebase.
  • Should be able to understand and explore the gem codebases, core level exploration is must.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs including email providers, payment processors, and social media.
  • Collaborate with the front-end team to build innovative and responsive website design.Develop Admin section and marketing analytic dashboard.
  • Use of Github repositories.
  • Integration of different plugins and gems.
  • Extending and maintaining JSON and Liquid-based APIs
  • Responsible for writing and maintaining code, designing applications, implementing best design practices,
