Job Summary

Job Description

Role/Responsibilities:

1. Will be working as an Individual Contributor (IC) under the leadership of Technical Lead/Manager

2. Should be able guide, assist and groom junior/developers

3. Should be able to carry out code and estimation review exercises

4. Responsible for completing development & support(L2/L3) tasks around bug fixes, feature development, change requests and support issues

5. Taking full accountability of requirement/impact analysis, design, programming, unit testing & deployment based on the assigned work

6. Adhere to process standards set in the team

7. Responsible for timely & correct reporting of work through Devops or other process tools

8. Co-ordinate & engage with other stakeholders like product team, QA team, Release team, Implementation team, peer review team & others for successful completion of work


9. Should be able to carry out an effective root cause analysis (RCA) exercise to arrive at an appropriate corrective/preventive action for the reported issues


10. Should be well versed with creating technical documentation e.g., DFD, ER diagram, process workflows, et al.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills:

1. Experience working in a product environment

2. At least 3+ years of hands-on experience on multi-user & multi-roles-based projects based on .Net 4+, MVC, Entity Framework, Web API, HTML 5, CSS 3.0/SASS and related technology stack

3. Strong estimation skills

4. Good to have experience on Angular 4+ or any similar JavaScript framework

5. Should be able to design database structure, write queries, procedures, functions and troubleshoot issues around performance, optimization for databases like SQL Server 2010+

6. Excellent communication & multi-tasking skills

7. Be process oriented and should have prior experience using any tools like Azure Devops, Jira, Bugzilla, etc.

8. Documentation skills

Desired Skills:

1. Knowledge/understanding of finance domain viz. Debt collection industry is desirable

2. Previous experience of working with US customer is desirable

3. Any prior experience in process automation
