What Youll Do

Technical Consulting Engineer will be responsible for in-depth learning of the product to troubleshoot complex issues for our customers and developing technical solutions related to Tetration products for our customers, partners, and field engineers. Further details of the role are:

• Must be a motivated, self-starter and self-learner teammate.
• Part of a global team delivering troubleshooting and engineering support to increase their consumption and adoption of the product line.
• Solve technical challenges and issues with Tetration and provide support remotely via collaboration tools like WebEx/telephone or via emails.
• Proactively suggest new ideas and enhancements for products and technology.
• Lead the product technology and be the customer advocate for their issues and challenges to solve them with ownership.
• Utilize moderate to complex lab setups to recreate and solve problems.
• Technically Lead the team members by building technical expertise and provide second/third level technical support
• Actively contribute to the organization by providing product enhancements and leading innovation efforts

Customer Experience (CX) Support Services team for Tetration offers holistic workload protection for multi-cloud data centers by enabling a zero-trust model using segmentation. The platform performs advanced analytics using an algorithmic approach and provides comprehensive workload protection. This algorithmic approach includes unsupervised machine-learning techniques and behavioral analysis.

Who You Are

• You have strong analytical, problem-solving, written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Have command over Linux/Solaris/UNIX operating systems and server hardware.
• You have a strong knowledge of IP-related protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, VLANs, NetFlow, and OSI layers.
• You know network architecture and protocols including routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
• Understanding of Virtualization technologies.
• You have a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of the complexity of algorithms in general, databases, and software design.
• Experience in one or more programming languages: Python, Java, C++.
• Superb troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis tied together with a sense of ownership
• Can do, will do attitude

Desired & Preferred Skills

• Experience with remote customer support and case management.
• Enterprise security solution experience and networking background.
• Preferences to Industry Certifications from Associate to Specialist levels
• Experience with Data Centre technologies like ACI is desired
• Cisco UCS familiarity
• Understanding of Hadoop, Druid, Zookeeper
• Understanding of Application Dependency Mapping (ADM)
• Understanding application components, communications, and dependencies
• Understanding of micro-segmentation policies based on application behavior
