Job Summary
The Formulation Development Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing the development of specific dosage forms within the Research and Development (R&D) division. This role involves ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of formulations while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Formulation Strategy and Planning Develop and approve formulation strategies and project plans for specific dosage forms. Streamline processes to reduce development timelines and ensure timely commercialization. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements throughout all stages of formulation development. Implement and adapt to regulatory changes that may occur during the development process. Innovation and Development Develop innovative platform technology products, delivery devices, and packaging solutions based on input from cross-functional teams. Identify and collaborate with clinical trial labs to complete clinical studies and achieve patient-compliant products (applicable for topicals and consumer health team leaders). Cross-Functional Collaboration Drive and resolve issues related to manufacturing, analytical, regulatory affairs, and APIs across all manufacturing locations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and reduce product costs. Required Qualifications M. Pharm or Ph.D. in a relevant field. 12-14 years of experience in formulation development, with at least 3-5 years as a Formulation Development Group Leader. Experience in solid oral dosage form development for domestic/Indian markets. Competencies Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
