Job Summary

Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
Implementation of security and data protection
Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements
Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
Understand business requirements and convert them into visual elements that can be represented in UI
Develop new user-facing features
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills Required :

Good understanding of Object Oriented JavaScript.
The overall experience of 3+ years with UI technologies (preferably in a E-commerce/Edutech Product company)
Strong hands-on experience in any of theseadvanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, includingjQuery, Zepto, MooTools, etc.
Proficient understanding of code versioning toolsGit, Bitbucket etc.
Familiarity with development aiding tools likeBower, Bundler, Rake, Gulp, etc.
Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming languagePHP
Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile vs, desktop),and optimizing output to match the specific platform
Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessorssuch as Stylus, Less, Sass etc.
Management of hosting UI environments likedev and testing
administration and scaling an application to support load changes
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Ability to implementautomated testing platforms and unit tests
Nice to have knowledge on server-side templating languagessuch as Jade, EJS, Jinja, etc.
