Job Summary
- Handle the Store Department at the construction site, ensuring smooth operations.
- Establish and implement handling systems for SAP and ERP movement of materials.
- Prepare stock registers and provide daily, weekly, and monthly management information system (MIS) reports to the Head Office (HO) and Project Head.
- Follow up with the purchase department for material indent and maintain tracking records of indents.
- Monitor material stock and consumption on a daily basis.
- Prepare statements and submit them to the HO in a timely manner.
- Create debit notes for sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Certify material purchase bills.
- Ensure proper inventory control of the store using ERP software and generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock statements.
- Establish and implement procedures for receiving, identifying, and accounting for incoming materials.
- Ensure proper storage and preservation of materials.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date records for physical storage and accounts.
- Coordinate with other departments within the company and external agencies.
- Take necessary steps for replenishing stock.
- Arrange required packing materials.
- Responsible for inventory control.
- Reconcile third party accounts related to job work.
- Monitor receipts and issues in the store department, verify purchase bills, and keep management informed about the store's situation.
- Maintain and file records.
- Prepare planning sheets and challans for internal materials transfer.
- Prepare asset challans and coding for new asset materials.
- Ensure proper quality and quantity check of new materials.
- Manage transportation logistic activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the entire store.
