JOB TITLE: senior Software java Developer (Full stack)

Job Description

Castus is seeking an experienced full-stack web developer (Java) to contribute to the development of the next generation of our customer web experience. As part of an agile team, the senior developer in this role will be responsible for the design, development, and unit testing of Restful API services built primarily on Java Springboot. You will also actively collaborate with Business and other IT stakeholders to anticipate emergent needs and support business agility.

Successful Candidates Should Have

• Hands on web and mobile applications development experience.
• Experience in developing solutions for both back-end Java applications and front-end GUI implementations.
• Hands on experience with Java development in a high volume environment.
• Knowledge of various J2EE and servlet containers such as WebSphere.
• Extensive knowledge of Java internals, JVM tuning and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in JSON, Struts, Spring, XML, web services (SOAP, REST).
• Knowledge and experience working with APIs, messaging, middleware, WebSphere/Rational Suite preferred.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development.
• Understanding of Object modeling and deciphering custom and vendor supplied schemas.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GIT (Github, Bitbucket or other).
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with an interest in helping teams transform into an agile methodology.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture Integration Design Patterns and insight into establishing, consuming, and routing messages, connectivity protocols and policy.
• Solution-oriented using rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, probing all sources for answers.
• Must be a self-learner with the ability to pick up new technologies and provide tangible results.

Responsibilities

• Creating/managing REST API endpoints (Java Spring).
• Writing Unit and Integration Tests.
• Deal with diverse members of our internal production team and overseas vendors with excellent presentation and Communication skills.

Educational Qualifications Required

• Full time or Regular Bachelor s degree or equivalent or specific relevant experience including BTECH, BE, MTECH, MCA and MSC / MS computer science.
