Job Summary
SALESFORCE DEVELOPER
Experience Level: Senior (More than 7 years experience)
Overview:
The Salesforce Developer will be part of a development team responsible for building and maintaining custom Salesforce applications and integrations using a combination of clicks and code as appropriate.
The Developer should have extensive experience in software development, including, but not limited to, Salesforce technologies such as Visual force and Apex.
The candidate will handle all development, testing and support phases of the effort. The Developer will primarily do custom code development (Visualforce and Apex) but should be able to do any related technical tasks such as database management and setting up and maintaining external application integrations
Responsibilities:
Design, architect and build technology solutions in SalesForce.com
Apply and follow best practices while developing Salesforce.com solutions
Determine the scope and corresponding effort estimates for development
Integrate SalesForce.com with other enterprise applications using a combination of REST API calls and integration tools such as Jitterbit
Configure and Manage the Jitterbit data integration tool
Work closely with Salesforce.com administrator, sales team, member services team, members of the development team and other stakeholders
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new products, features, and technologies to add value to the business
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong Analytical, Problem Solving and Communication Skills
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
com Developer certification
Experience working with the Sales and Service Cloud
Experience with most of the following technologies: Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Controllers, Triggers, Visual force, Force.com IDE, Web Services
Familiarity with web application development technologies like JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML5 and CSS
Good understanding of Salesforce security, Organization wide defaults, Profiles, Permission sets etc.
Lightning experience is a plus
