Job Summary

JOB RESPONSIBILITY We are looking for experienced and ambitious VB.NET developer to join our team. Must have skills: .Net Framework, ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, SQL Server, HTML, Javascript, Jquery, ADO.Net Work with team of application developers (team members and vendor partners) and collaborate with a solution architects and onsite leads to effectively deliver projects, enhancements, and applications. Execute/Manage end to end project i.e., from Requirement Gathering to software development and implementation, and overseeing operations team independently. Analyses and evaluates detailed business and technical requirements. Codes and maintains complex components of information systems. Develops and performs unit testing and fixes defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results. Ensure code quality by performing technical design and code reviews. Module level ownership and ensure that any development that occurs in that module is as per the agreed solution. Propose automation solutions maximizing efficiency and productibility, addressing security and performance concerns and creating reusable code components. Responsible for on-time development completion with low defect rate through close interactions / reviews with the other developers Ready to learn new technology/ application. Should be ready to work in support project if needed. QUALIFICATION Minimum education: Bachelor s degree in any Engineering Stream Specialized training, certifications, and/or other special requirements: Nice to have. Preferred education: Computer Science/Engineering EXPERIENCE Minimum experience. - Should have hands on experience in Software development/IT project support for at least 1 years with a minimum of at least 4+ years of IT experience. Preferred experience 4 9 years. Knowledge and Competencies Demonstrate experience influencing with technical and business stakeholders through verbal and written communications. Interpersonal Management with GIC model experience in mid-to-large teams Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills Strong working knowledge of Developing, Designing and implementing large scale enterprise applications. Knowledge of the Agile process Detailed-oriented with strong documentation and tracking skills View challenges as opportunities and offer potential solutions. Ask questions to understand stakeholder roles and needs with an open mind. Look for opportunities to create value for all stakeholders. Offer viable, alternative solutions to problems instead of only stating objections. Lead by example, modeling Carelon values in everything you do Anticipate how your actions will affect upstream and downstream departments, thinking more broadly and end-to-end.
