This is a Sr. Software Engineer role, reporting to the R&D Team Manager in business area Process Automation located in Bangalore. You will be working at Ability Innovation Center (AIC), home to the largest technology and engineering pool in ABB globally and is a part of ABB Global Industries and Services Private Limited, a subsidiary of ABB. It is based in Bangalore, the silicon-valley of India. Its unique infrastructure places research, development, engineering, and service teams under one roof, increasing collaboration and reducing time to market, with no compromise on quality.

Your responsibilities

• Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Improving existing software quality by identifying issues and common patterns and developing standard operating procedures.
• Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes.
• Follows the software development lifecycle, having good understanding of various SDLC models like SaFe Agile, SCRUM etc.
• Software Documentations and demonstrates solutions by modeling documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Code metrices and Improves code quality by conducting code analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Understand IP and Protections, software models\ innovations.

Your background

• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics from a reputed institution.
• Required 3-years of experience in software Development.
• Should have experience in HTML5, Type Script, CSS, Javascript along with one of the Front Library: ReactJS (Preferable).
• Should have experience in .Net Core, C# Fundamentals & Advance features/ Coding guidelines, ASP .Net Web APIStrong Programming fundamentals & technical aptitude.
• Should have experience in design patterns, Micro Front end Architecture.
• Should have strong experience with typescript, bootstrap, Angular CLI, NPM.
• Should have experience with browser developer tools like inspector and java script console.
