Global Business Services (GBS) is ABB€™s shared services organization which delivers operational and expert services in Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Legal, Global Travel Services and external Customer Contact Centers. With employees based in five main hubs and front offices, GBS provides mainly Business services to ABB teams across the globe as well as supports with external customer inquiries. This is a Fusion Technical Project Manager role, reporting to the IS Service Owner, HR in the Global Business Services which is in Bangalore, India. This global project role will manage and coordinate all activities required to successfully transfer and deploy existing integrations from one regional Workday tenant (US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Poland) in a new Workday tenant that will go live in October 2022. The system scope includes 30 internal and external vendors with over 100 integrations. The role will need to be involved in design, testing and deployment activities whereas configurations will be executed by Workday as the implementation partner. This project role will end in Q4 2022. A permanent assignment in the post-project support team can be discussed.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible to identify, execute and monitor all activities required to deploy the integrations in scope of the Fusion program.
• Acting as the ABB internal lead to drive vendor interactions, primarily on a technical level, together with the Information Systems (IS) Domain Delivery manager.
• Providing leadership to the internal and external integration analysts to ensure that integration designs, configuration, test and deployment activities are planned and executed thoroughly.
• Providing regular status reporting, managing the RAID log for the assigned scope.
• Assisting the functional and technical teams in planning the cutover and sunsetting of the existing local tenant.

Your background

• Proven integration experience and having successfully worked in global deployment projects in the HR domain.
• Experience with Workday is required along-with strong project management skills.
• Structured thinking and strong communication skills to organize a global community of HRIS and business process specialists towards common solutions within the given timelines.
• Ability to structure and convey complex messages, urgency, and insights into meaningful action plans.
• Leadership with vision and ambition. Passion for quality and speed. Creativity and readiness for innovation to break new ground. Integrity when dealing with highly sensitive data. Can-do attitude. Problem solver. Resilience
