This is an Epic Owner - Digital role, reporting to the Research & Development (R&D) Specialist in Business Area - Robotics & Discrete Automation and located in Bangalore. You will work in Robotics domain on world class software applications hosted on EDGE or CLOUD.

Your responsibilities

• Improve and maintain application software product portfolio.
• Support in strategic initiatives to enhance product portfolio, definition of Epic, its Min. Viable Product (MVP), Lean business case and facilitate implementation.
• Co-ordinate, synchronize and drive epic related activities with R&D, product, sales, marketing and similar functions.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Backlog Owners to ensure Epics are driven through Program Increments.
• Support the definition of Epic, its Min. Viable Product (MVP), Lean business case and facilitate implementation.
• Supports BO's to Refine and maintain healthy Product backlog.
• Support the roll-out of releases to supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, operations and ensure smooth handover to the line organization.
• Influence the teams to adopt modern software engineering approaches like DevOps CI-CD pipelines, Standard designs/ Open source, Containerization, Scriptless test automation.

Your background

• Bachelors or Masters in Engineering.
• Minimum 18 to 20 years of experience.
• Good understanding of software development in various architectures (middleware, web, cloud, etc.).
• Cloud / Edge Solutions Development / Deployment:.
• Hands on experience with Azure App Service, Web App, Azure functions, Cosmos DB or blob storage, API Management, IoT hub, messaging protocols like MQTT, Cybersecurity.
• Execution capability to deliver releases on-time to market and own lifecycle of products.
• Good experience in developing the business case, work directly with the key stakeholders on the selected Agile Release Train for features implementation.
• Influence Agile transformation of SaFE teams through empowerment and engagement with focus on achieving business goals.
