The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to our company s specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

We re looking out for anPHP Web Developerto help scale our agency with the following responsibilities:

  • Working knowledge in WordPress.
  • Grasp of HOOKS concepts in WordPress.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git.
  • Deep expertise and hands on experience with programming languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and API s.
  • Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ) is needed to be successful in this position.
  • Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to eCommerce applications.
  • Good understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
  • Experience in updating/upgrading/maintaining client s websites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an agency primarily working Custom PHP, WordPress & WooCommerce Websites.
  • Advanced computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office applications Excel & Word.
  • Organized and goal-oriented. Needs to be able to work with colleagues across functions without supervision.
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail.
  • Good English Communication skills, Verbal and written.
