Job Summary

Reporting to:IT Lead

Accountability:Backend PHP development and maintenance of IT applicationsbuilt-indifferent technology.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of PHP usingMVCand Frameworks.
  • Understanding of version control software such as GIT andSVNis a plus.
  • Experience writing SQL queries for MySQL or another Relational Databaseis required.
  • Shouldhave the abilityto develop complex software to satisfy designgoals.
  • Able to understand the complex business process.
  • Good understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST, SOAP and API design for extensibility and portability.
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing the documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented design and development skills.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies is a plus.
