Quantitative Research Job in Capitalvia Global Research Limited

Quantitative Equity Research Analyst is required to perform duties as per the below-enlisted description:

• Must have experience in Back testing, Optimization of strategy, using the platform like PYTHON, R, based on Technical Indicators to test buy/sell/holdrecommendationunder aadiverse set of categories like Equity, Commodity, F&O Segment. Frequency is decided as per the requirement of the strategy.
• Must provide the required support for the seamless operations of the report handling, preparation, review, and releases -

• Reviewing and Managing Track Record
• Managing and/or Preparing Main/Follow up reports/trading recommendation is to be released on Daily, depending on movement in the market.
• Managing and/or Preparing macro-economic reports/ industry overviews under newsletters based on the the requirement of the business.
• Managing and/or Preparing Quick digest reports entailing any news items.
• Assisting and guiding the members of the other research team and the Business team as per the need of the business.
• Uploading of ready to be released reports on the company s portal.

The timing for the report preparation, uploading, and release would vary depending on the type of respective report

• Assisting the reporting manager in providing insights for research streamlining, workflow management.
• Keeping track of the portfolio performance regularly and conducting activities required for performance evaluation.
• Catering to queries emanating from the sales team and of client requirements.
• Performing other suitable activities based on the need of the hour (videos/ podcasts etc.) and requirements of the business.

Education and other skills:

• MBA Finance Having over 1 year experience in Data Science/Equity Research.
• Must have expertise in using the financial research databases (e.g., Charting Software, Spider, Meta Stok).
• Must have strong command over Excel & Powerpoint, Very Good command in writing content in English language.
• Must have analytical, multi-tasking ability with a growth-oriented mindset.
