Senior Engineer - Sql Server Development Job in Cambridge Technology

We are seeking reliable, highly motivated, and skilled database programmers to join our Technology Service Centre in Hyderabad, India. You shall have good knowledge of T-SQL programming and SQL BI. You will be responsible for writing queries and procedures, designing databases, and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance. Also should be able to design and develop BI reports and packages. Candidates with certifications will be highly preferred.

• Good Analytical and Quantitative Skills
• SQL Server(2008 R2, 2012, 2014, 2016), T-SQL, MSBI (SSRS, SSIS)
• Experience/knowledge on analyzing the query execution plan, Query optimization & Tuning
• Ready to explore different software technology tools.
• Good verbal and written skills
• Must know Agile Development methodologies

Good to have

• Knowledge/experience in Qlik Report/Power BI, PowerShell scripting
• Knowledge in SQL DBA activities
• Understand and analyze application requirement provided by client/BA
• Knowledge in Microsoft technologies to develop web, windows, Console applications
• Knowledge in Java

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understand the business requirement and provide high-quality database solutions.
• Responsible for Creating /modifying Stored procedures, functions, triggers, views as per the business requirement.
• Perform unit testing and regression testing on developed code
• Analyze the existing database objects and optimizing them for better performance.
• Responsible for bulk load/modify the data from the back end.
• Research and analyze the data for production support.
• Develop SSIS Package to load or export the data between different sources(Database to Database, Flat files to Database, Database to Excel/CSV/Text).
• Develop SSRS Reports for the business requirement.
• Responsible for creating/extracting the data for Qliksense as per BI/data visualization requirement and support the business users to build efficient Qliksense reports.
• Develop/explore new technology tools and features
• Communicate effectively and should be able to handle group presentations
• Communicate with Client on daily basis(Optional)
