Job Summary
Skills
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, AngularJS, REACT etc
- Experience in cloud based environments like AWS and/or Azure.
- Familiarity with CSS precompilers like SASS, LESS
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN etc
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
- Able to design mobile-based features
- Ability to create quality mockups and prototypes
- Good understanding of JSON / XML and usage of API
- Understanding of layout aesthetics
- Experience with WordPress (as a CMS) and familiarity with PHP
