Job Description:

The SASE Solution Sales Engineer works with our most strategic customers to grow their Symantec cyber security investments, via Zero Trust and SASE initiatives, to ultimately lead to the improvement of their security and/or Risk & Governance posture in hybrid cloud. In order to achieve this, you will be partnering with the SASE Sales Specialist team, and Broadcom Account Directors, and will be working with the most strategic partners in the region. With your ability to liaise at C- Level, you'll evangelize our Network & Information Security integrated suite of Zero Trust and SASE enabling technology, and help to move the business forward with a consultative approach to the sales process. With a good network and cloud security architecture focus, you will provide the insight necessary for customers to understand how we can solve their security problems for the huge remote workforce that are going direct to net, using cloud apps at home.

This is an end user focused role, although you will also be working with strategic partners, and as an aligned account aligned Solution Engineer you will need to build relationships with your clients at operational, security, and risk management levels. Therefore interpersonal skills are also highly valued and are critical to the success in this role.

What you'll be doing:

Delivering technical briefings, presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and thought leadership in this space.

Articulate and demonstrate Symantec Network & Information Security SASE solutions, and position technology relative to competition.

Challenge the norm, and traditional network security approaches

Organise the delivery of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in the security technology, via a local Product Specialists whilst leading your client s success criteria.

Gain Technical closure from the customer that products meet their requirements and assist the sales in technical qualification and management of the opportunities throughout the technical sales cycle, using multi-functional teams where applicable.

Enthusiastically seek out new sales opportunities by developing new and existing technical relationships within accounts that you have been involved with and seeking to carry out SASE advisory workshops and Zero Trust security assessments.

Write technical white papers and being responsible for the technical response to RFI/RFP.

Acts as a customer SASE solution advocate to feedback future requirements into Symantec product management

Be the customer s go-to person and trusted adviser for technical queries and handle customer concerns in an appropriate manner.

Fluency in English

Previous experience working with network security and information security technologies; Secure Web Gateways / Proxies, Web Isolation, Email Security, Firewalls, DLP, CASB, SDP, ZTNA Gateways

Experience with Active Directory / Azure, DNS, and IaaS providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP,

If you've previously worked with the Symantec/Blue Coat Security portfolio in the past or competitive solutions, that would be beneficial

Able to clearly articulate and present the value proposition of all Symantec s solutions to your clients.

The ability to map technical and commercial value to longer term business goals within your customer s environment

Experience driving partner relationships and training partners in cyber security solutions

Preferred : Industry accreditations such as CISSP, ITIL, CSSK, AWS/GCP/Azure architecture certifications
