Position Title: CP Operations Manager

Function: Operations

Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech (preference Food Technology)

Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in Manufacturing or Maintenance function which includes 2-3 years experience in Contract Manufacturing set-up

• Clear understanding on Factory Operations dynamics encompassing manufacturing; maintenance; logistics etc.
• Strong orientation towards compliance and results
• Conceptual clarity on Quality aspects
• Ability to manage and lead a team towards defined objectives
• Conceptual clarity on cost parameters of manufacturingCollaborative approach
• Knowledge on preventive maintenance
• Management of contract manufacturing operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Budgeting and completion of Annual Contracts with contract manufacturers
• Discuss with CP on monthly production plan and ensure adherence to same
• Facilitate communication between CP and Replenishment team on material supply issues
• Keep close tab on plan vs actual production at CPs. and monitor the despatch plan
• Periodically review preventive maintenance practices at CPs. Identify and prepare list of critical spares needed for machines and ensure availability of the same. Verify the impact of machine breakdown on production and initiate rectification measures in discussion with CP Officers and CP owners.
• Communicate dialogue with CPs. on the performance around quality/cost and delivery ensuring their adherence to standards
• Analyse performance of equipment and processes at CPs. and initiate discussion for need form up gradation of the same.
• Validate consumption variance and decide, in discussion with Finance, on recoveries and waivers
• Ensure adherence to quality standards at CPs. and participate in Food Safety Audits
