Job Summary Data Engineer Responsibilities :
  • Complete risk assessments.
  • Compile analytical data.
  • Write technical reports.
  • Report findings.
Mandatory Skills :
  • Bachelor s engineering in CS or IT.
  • Efficient in using programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL, etc.
  • Experience in using big data tools for data manipulation and modeling (PySpark/Scala).
  • Experience manipulating data sets, cleaning data sets and creating data architectures.
  • Knowledge and experience in functional testing, integration and deployment.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as sockets, TCP/IP, HTTPS, MQTT, etc.
  • Understand the need from the stakeholders and fellow teammates and translate the need into design and develop the systems based on the design.
  • Implement efficient backend algorithms and data compilations for analytical projects.
  • Experience in building business analytics solutions with end-to-end responsibilities on data modelling, ETL/ELT and reporting.
  • Build, improve & maintain data eco-systems & dashboards to support variety of analytics done by data science team and various business stakeholders.
  • Work under limited supervision and communicate effectively to set achievable expectations, to have a tight control over timelines and quality of work output.
  • Strong problem solving and logical skills. & a go-getter kind of attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.
Preferred Skills :
  • Master s in Data Science, Data Analytics & Business Analytics.
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures.
  • Experience with seq2seq modelling and non parametric models.
  • Experience in NLP, NLTK library or any other NLP library.
  • Experience using web services: Redshift, S3, Spark, DigitalOcean, etc.
  • Experience with distributed data/computing tools: Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, etc.
  • Experience visualizing/presenting data using Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Good understanding of product development life cycle.
