Position Description:BRIDGEi2i is looking for talented leader with proven experience in Actuarial Analytics to join their Insurance vertical to support a global insurance leader on various innovative analytics projects

Essential Qualifications:Graduates/Postgraduates in Mathematics/Statistics/Data science / Actuarial Science

Experience Level:Should possess 6+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Closely liaise with stakeholders in the clients organisation to design and develop innovative solutions using advanced analytical techniques to solve specific business problems
  • Manage junior team members and SMEs - provide technical guidance and oversight while managing own deliverables as required
  • Ensure high quality standards and timely delivery in all projects. Mitigate associated risks by effective project planning and progress tracking
  • Proactive client/customer engagement and management
  • Keep up with cutting edge analytics techniques and tools in the continuously evolving area of decision science
  • Contribute to solutions and capability development of the overall insurance practice at BRIDGEi2i to ensure organisational growth

Core Experience and Skills:

  • Proven track record in designing and delivering analytical solutions in a consulting environment or with an insurer
  • Strong experience in Actuarial Analytics (e.g. pricing/rating/reserving modelling, profitability/ competitive analysis, segmentation, rate monitoring, variance analysis etc.) preferably in P&C insurance domain
  • Acquired actuarial qualifications (CT-CA levels) from IFoA/SoA/IAI or equivalent
  • Hands on experience in using Emblem/Radar
  • Strong data manipulation and statistical modelling experience using SAS, SQL, R or Python
  • Thorough operational understanding of various RDBMS applications like Oracle, SQL Server Teradata etc.

  • Self-driven individual with proven track record of managing a team and ability to work as an individual contributor as well
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously and adhere to mutually agreed upon milestones and timelines
  • Strong project and key stakeholder management in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to effectively present and explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
