Prep Artists:

Responsibilities:

• Applicant must have an artistic vision and creative thinking ability
• Exceptional skill in at least one Paint software (Ex.,Silhouette, Nuke, etc.)
• Proficient in creating clean plates
• Additional knowledge of Rotoscopy and Tracking (2D & 3D) would be an advantage
• Candidates with fine arts background are preferred, though not a must
• Minimum of 5 years experience in VFX paint and prep work (For Senior Level),2-3 yearsexperience in VFX paint and prep work(For Mid Level)

Prep Leads:

Responsibilities:

-The prime responsibility is towards the show (Efficiency, Delivery, Deadlines and Feedback)
-Has to identify training needs and skill level matrix
-Responsible for verifying time card entries
-Responsible for assigning subtasks in guidance of the Supervisor
-Interact with Production Team for schedule Management
-Assist immediate sups with getting content lined up for Dailies. Responsible of timely completion for Dailies.
-Actively engage in doing and completing complex shots (Billable upto 30-40%)
-Show leads may take the role of artist at the successful completion of their shows until they are assigned the next show.

Prep Supervisors:

Responsibilities:

-Responsible & Accountable for the overall quality of delivery of the shows
-Responsible for timely Dailies sessions
-Required to set up Show guidelines
-Responsible & Accountable for Bidding and Producer calls
-Required to set Briefing Sessions explain the scope and purpose of task, logic for the bids, suggest techniques and process for timely
delivery
-Act as the primary client interface on an ongoing basis and take up quick one-on-one interactions for effective results.
-Expected to mentor artists on the job, over the shoulder and work with them to help them grow their knowledge base and gain
confidence.
-End to End Responsibility and accountability of an assigned Show for that dept
-R & D of tools, plugins, and softwares directly in line with the work of the department / Show.
-Consulted for Training needs, Appraisals, etc.
