Job Summary WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG's FI Practice Area, you will work in BCG India team primarily, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized knowledge assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data and related knowledge, etc.). You will contribute to cases and proposals by conducting relevant analysis, synthesizing insights, and helping the case teams create a strong impact for the client. While contributing to client cases, workshops, and proposals etc. it is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions. Our role expectations are: Working with case / proposal teams by providing analysis to drive insight into specific client issues from client site or BCG office on short and long-duration assignments Managing and processing industry-focus analysis requests, and assisting consultants with industry-specific problems Interacting with local teams and using an extensive collection of internal and external information resources to gather, filter, synthesize, package, and deliver insights to case teams and clients Working on cases and content pieces with a special focus on Banking/FI space (on topics such as Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, Payment, Fintech, Business Transformation, Digitization, Asset management, Operational excellence, etc.). Guide and provide inputs to client/team members leading to successful strategy execution on the above topics. YOU'RE GOOD AT Work with case (and proposal) teams With guidance from senior team members, Partners/MDPs with case teams to identify & address critical knowledge for cases and support case teams Participates in client calls and workshops and eventually co-leads modules leveraging the proprietary data assets and deploying specific methodologies Identify key performance indicators for players in the Financial Institutions ecosystem and analyze data to generate insights Support client proposals by conducting customized analyses on relevant information, providing research, and topic input to the proposal team Creating reports on new trends, new topics, regulations, etc. highlighting the overall impact on Financial Services Work with topic/sector teams The SKA will work closely with the local BCG FS leadership to own and drive performance benchmarks for banks and NBFCs Collaborates & maintains the development of new knowledge through participation in knowledge development projects, databases, surveys, tools, etc. Promotes innovation - Develops best-in-class practice material on various banking topics to be used by teams or shared with clients Contributes to building sector/topic/ teams and suggests emerging topics/sectors based on client demand Develop additional proprietary knowledge for the Firm like creation of databases, supporting whitepapers, and internal knowledge documents YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) 2-5 years of consulting experience in relevant Financial Institutions area; candidates with consulting experience preferred In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required CA/MBA Degree preferred (preferably in Finance/Banking/Digital) Strong analytical skills & research capability along with strong financial acumen Ability to multi-task & operate effectively in a matrix organization in a fast-paced environment Fluency in English; Effective written & verbal communication Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will collaborate with topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated with BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading-edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight. BCG's Knowledge Team members have the opportunity to be staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA s business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
Qualification :
CA/MBA Degree preferred (preferably in Finance/Banking/Digital)
