Roles and Responsibilities:

• Write software targeting GPU/CPU and parallel/manycore computer architectures, and/or optimizing software for GPU acceleration, multithreading, and/or vectorization.

• Analyze the software, identify potential performance bottlenecks, and enhance current applications to better utilize hardware accelerators.

• Perform scaling analysis.

• Collaborate with other teams of engineers to provide accelerator-related support.

• Publish research papers, reports, and white papers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or engineering program with a computationally-oriented research focus.

• Fluency with C/C++ is required.

• Experience with CUDA/HIP/OpenCL/OpenACC and OpenMPI/OpenMP is a must.

• Knowledge of numerical methods for differential equations, linear algebra, and multigrid solvers is preferred.
