Job Summary

The Position

Monitor, interpret and shape developments and gaps in healthcare policies and healthcare delivery for our current portfolio and future pipeline. Devise and execute, in close cross functional collaboration, strategic & tactical plans to address care gaps in patient journey and position BI products for adoption and rationale use in clinical practice. Be the patient champion to drive patient centricity in BI s strategies & tactics and lead the patient centric initiatives.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Country PESTEL review identify healthcare trends and challenges; use to develop and implement opportunities / strategies that BI can leverage on now and in the future; prioritize opportunities and incorporate into ICP
  • Conduct landscape analysis for BI portfolio and pipeline in discussions with cross functional teams (medical, marketing, access, PGA, GTM)
  • Develop country HCA plan in alignment from ROPU submit to ROPU within stipulated timelines
  • Ensure HCA plans are integrated in the ICP
  • Ensure ICP tactical plans execution
  • Prepare the markets for BI products adoption/reimbursement by healthcare systems
  • Work with cross functional team to identify gaps across the patient journey
  • Engage and partner with identified key stakeholders/policy makers/ HCPs involved in guidelines formulations, policy shaping and access to healthcare initiatives to recognize and prioritize opportunities and planning & execution
  • Working closely with cross functional teams on Projects for a successful Launch readiness
  • Identify external/internal digital/innovation opportunities to address the gaps in the patient journey
  • Work closely with cross functional in external interactions on the identified opportunities and to develop action plan
  • Adhere to compliance and SOPs for digital/innovation interactions with external stakeholder/partners
  • Create the culture of patient centricity and enhance BI s image among the patient organizations
  • Assess the Patient Organization engagement need for BI portfolio and pipeline in discussions with cross functional teams
  • Develop the PE plan in mutual collaboration with patient organization and support & drive the execution of the plans
  • Support IMETA, Corporate and Country level initiatives requiring inputs and support from patient organizations (patient advisory board, patient insights, patient story sharing, etc.)
  • Work closely with medical, marketing and corporate affairs for patient awareness initiative planning and execution
  • Work closely with medical and marketing for development, execution and monitoring of patient support / assistance programs
  • Ensure inclusion on all patient engagement plans (strategic and tactical) in brand ICPs

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences/MBA master's in health economics and Pharma economics is a plus
  • At least 8-10 years' experience in the field of Market Access/Healthcare affairs/Marketing
  • Results orientation/Conflict Resolution/Negotiation Skills/ Presentation Skills/Creativity and Critical Thinking/ Problem Solving and Decision Making/Project Management
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry among others in health
  • economics, outcome research, pricing, reimbursement, planning/development/maintenance of relationships.
  • Requires excellent analytical skills and makes evaluative judgments in solving complex problems, based on information
  • Requires expertise in the field of Health Care Affairs and patient engagement.
  • Analyses information that is both quantitative and qualitative and is drawn from multiple sources from internal and external as well as primary and secondary data and relate them to each other in establishing strategies.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Business acumen in understanding ever changing business environment and oversee potential changes in the regulations/policies to extenuate the impact on BI business
  • Requires a deep understanding of factors external to the business including knowledge of the industry, regulations/policies and commercial environment. Good understanding of healthcare innovation landscape.

Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences/MBA master's in health economics and Pharma economics is a plus
