Staff Specialist SQA Engineer - India
A highly successful and geographically disperse R&D department seeks a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join their Mainframe team.
In this role, you will:
.Learn the purpose, features and use cases of the technology to be testedDesign and execute test plans for functional and non-functional validation; document test resultsReport and track all discovered defects, and validate fixes provided by developersWork with Developers and other Quality Assurance team members for validation of product functionality, via manual or automated execution of test casesWrite test automation scripts using automation framework for regression testing.Interact and collaborate with a global team, including USA, India and Israel
Required skills:
5 years experience in z/OS, strong MVS experiencenetworking experience is beneficialExperience in QA principles, including test planning, test cases creation, execution, test results documentation & defect reportingGood verbal and written proficiency in English languagePosition requires the candidate to be a fast learner, good team player with excellent communication skillsExperience with test automation scripting frameworks (Hiperstation, TPNS, UFT or others) is beneficialBachelors degree in Computer Science
