Senior Cloud Infrastructure Cost Analyst - Aws Job in Blueshift Labs

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily ongoing infrastructure costs and cost discrepancies
• Communicate with engineering, operations, and leadership of any anomalies for further follow up
• Work with engineering and operations teams to provision optimal components and tune for best performance and outputs
• Investigate, evaluate and recommend ongoing and new savings offerings including new releases and long term commitment based savings from cloud infrastructure providers for adoption
• Build and automate daily and monthly cost analytics reports and provision for communication
• Learn business use cases and build models reflecting use case costs

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience AWS cloud administration and cost analysis - longer experience is definitely welcome
• In depth knowledge of AWS services, their performance characteristics, and cost models
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to use numerical analysis tools and spreadsheets
• Strong grasp of AWS administration and ability to write the necessary automation scripts for extracting data from AWS
• Experience in the cloud native business with good understanding of cloud infrastructure components and operational costs
• Experience with data manipulation and report generation for executive presentationsExperience with scripting and automating daily cost reports
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical community and executive leadership
