Sr Staff Software Engineer (saas Architect) Job in Blue Yonder Group

Sr. Enterprise Technical Architect(P8):

Work Location:Hyderabad

Required Skills:

• Strong at Core Java / J2EE, Design Patterns, Data structures, Restful Web services, Ajax, SQL programming
• Strong Experience in OO JavaScript and Front-end MVC frameworks such as AngularJs.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript patterns and the challenges involved with creating maintainable JavaScript applications.
• Strong experience in building SaaS applications using Microsoft Azure, AKS, Kafka, Dockers , Spring Boot
• Experience in Performance tuning and fixing security vulnerabilities.
• Good understanding of micro services architecture and its challenges.
• Strong understanding of software design principles.
• Experience developing large, scalable applications deployed on cloud.
• Extensive knowledge about APIs. Can design RESTful services and integrate with other data providers.
• Experience in migrating monolithic application to microservices
• Experience using Git for complex software systems with teams.
• Passion for learning new tools, languages and frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in an agile test driven development with continuous integration.
• Strong requirements analysis and solution design abilities.
• Strong knowledge on mathematics or statistics - Preferably have a masters degree on this.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Trusted advisor for architectural and technical concerns for key critical and complex modules within a product.

Collaborates with the team and other leads to identify and resolve technical challenges related to the delivery of a product.

Ensures the usage of reusable components through design, and also ensures that code quality, performance, and scalability and reliability requirements are met.

Keeps aware of new technologies and analyzes how they can be applied to Blue Yonder products and the current delivery project.

Identifies and grooms next level architects for succession planning within the product.

Communicates to the director and PMG to raise awareness of the potential risks related to applications within the product.

Demonstrates the ability to apply domain concepts into the solution and product area.

Demonstrates good understanding of the product and its architecture.

Makes tactical decisions on architectural and design issues.

Ensures the solution built satisfies business and technical requirements.

Ensures that the non-functional requirements defined, such as security requirements and performance objectives, are met.

Manages technical issues, coding, and configuration to ensure delivery of modules and the product.

Collaborates across teams around technical and architectural issues.

Reviews requirements, business use-cases and scenarios, and contributes to product documentation.

Responds to queries from internal and external sources (within a project team, or across project and services teams).

Participates in interviewing of developers. Provides advice on special technical issues when consulted by senior management.

Is a key contributor in the development of a few critical and complex modules within a product..
