Senior Staff Software Engineer Job in Blue Yonder Group

Essential Responsibilities As a key technology leader in this role you will:

Act as the thought leader for Data & Analytics technologies for BlueYonder Supply Chain verticals

Be responsible for the overall strategy, design and technical implementation of the Next Gen Blue Yonder data lake on Azure leveraging your expertise to optimize design and future scalability

Analyse, design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint

Lead and coordinate the technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction across multiple teams and data & analytics product lines

Drive innovation , and take the organization to the next maturity level

Mentor , lead and coach emerging architects in the data & analytics domain

Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in product development and/or operational support activities for different teams or complex scenarios.

Effectively monitor and control costs as part of architecture development and ongoing governance

Further the knowledge and improve productivity of enterprise data architecture domain, through creating learning content, giving presentations, and supporting a continuous learning culture

Maintain strong external network of Data & Enterprise Architects to bring ideas and solutions to BlueYonder

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum 15+ years or relevant experience

Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Analytics including technology evaluations, solution implementation, process oversight, regulatory knowledge.

Desired Characteristics Technical Expertise:

Hands-on experience in multi-generation technology planning, convergence and rationalization as it relates to data architecture and governance

Demonstrable experience implementing large scale , cloud based( Azure) enterprise level data lakes , that cater to heterogenous use cases , including Data Management, Data as a Service, Data Science , AI/ML, Advance analytics , and Reporting.

Experience in executing under scrum/agile framework

Adopts a holistic systems perspective. Empathizes with multiple points of view but able to drive to

decision.

Challenges program/product planning assumptions.

Hands-on experience with Azure Native services including, but not limited Blob Storage, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL ( various flavours) , Data Factory, Data Catalog, Azure ML , Data Lake Analytics, Databricks, HDInsight, Data Lake Storage, Storage Archive, Backup etc.

Strong business analysis, problem solving, and strategy development skills

Working knowledge of GDPR and other similar regulations

Proven expertise in dealing with large data sets - Big data , as well as traditional structured data warehouse environments

Contributed/Presented white papers in relevant data areas at recognized conferences/events
