Software Tester Job in Blue Copper Technologies

Position : Software Tester (1-3 Years), Senior Software Tester (3+ Years)

We are looking for experienced and passionate Software Tester to work on new and exciting projects and develop/maintain quality processes.

• Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression).
• Design and develop automation scripts when needed.
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
• Provide support and documentation.

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Experience in project management and QA methodology.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
• Attention to detail & Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Fair understanding of Software Engineering including Agile Methodology.
• Review & understand Functional & Non-Functional requirements, specifications and technical design documents to Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers / architects and project managers) to develop Test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs using Bug Tracking System.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products / solutions to meet client needs.
• Develop Environment for Non-Functional Testing & Reporting.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Regular Reporting to Project Manager / Senior Management / Client.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written, are desired.
• Educational Qualification: Graduation/Post Graduation in Computer Science, Engineering or in related field.
