Sr. Business Analyst (insurance Domain) Job in Blazeclan Technologies

As part of BSA s responsibilities, he/she serve as the strategic interface with assigned business units or functional area for the purpose of business/technology strategy development, solution discovery, demand management and relationship management.

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis as P&C domain consultant / business analyst
  
• Strong knowledge of P&C Insurance products & policy administration function
  
• Thorough understanding of business processes within the Insurance industry both life & non-life for the Asia Pacific and Indian sub-continent.
  
• Will utilize his/her in-depth insurance domain knowledge, existing leadership, and Blazeclan's current Insurance portfolio to develop/drive practice offerings and implement the go-to-market strategy.
  
• A well-rounded understanding of the insurance operations and processes (i.e., Sales & Distribution, Marketing, claims, underwriting, policy servicing, agent channel management, etc.)
  
• Will be responsible for leading the business growth and competency growth in insurance technologies.
  
• Experience in designing Test Plans and coming up with Functional Test scenarios and test cases in P&C/Life insurance functional areas
  
• Experience in Insurance Product like Life Asia 400, Duck Creek, Guide wire, Ingenium, Performance Plus would be an advantage
  
• Having industry certifications from AICPCU / The Institutes will be preferred.
  
• Knowledge of various Insurance life cycles and accreditations LOMA, INS21/22/32, IRDAI, etc. (ALMI / FLMI from LOMA, etc.)
  
• Conversant with bureau circular analysis (ISO / NCCI / AAIS) is desirable
  
• Experience should include requirements gathering and analysis, business process consulting, prototype development, and product configuration
  
• Experience in Agile development Conversant with various documentation standards etc
  
• Experience with insurance software products will be preferred
  
• Conversant with documentation standards such as BPMN, Use Cases, UML Notations etc.
  
• Perform risk analysis to determine risk and potential business impacts
  
• Liaise and co-ordinate with Information System Security Manager on all Information System security activities within department
  
• Ensure compliance on Information System Security standards and IS Security guidelines are adhere to within department
  
• Any additional technology knowledgearound -all latest and emerging technologies - ML, AI, Data, Digital Transformation, Cloud - and its leverage for Insurance operations - would be added advantage.
