Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Odoo Frontend Developer with 1.5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. As an Odoo Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Python, jQuery, CSS, HTML, and React. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web development and a passion for creating innovative and seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Front-end Development:

• Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery and must-have work on React).
• Ensure the integration of web applications with Fortent's design principles and guidelines.
• ​Must have experience in Odoo framework on the frontend side.

2. Back-end Development:

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python/C/C++ code for server-side logic.
• Integrate data storage solutions, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• ​Must have experience in Odoo framework on the backend side.

3. Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

4. Troubleshooting and Optimisation:

• Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues in a timely manner.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.

5. Version Control:

• Use version control tools (e.g., Git) effectively to manage code-base and collaborate with team members.

6. Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web development.
• Proactively seek opportunities for skill development and improvement.

Qualifications:

• ​Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (1.5+ years) in web development with a focus on Python, jQuery, CSS, HTML, React, PostgreSQL, and Odoo.
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development principles.
• Experience with database systems, preferably MySQL / PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills.
