Job Description:

We are seeking out a highly talented Sr Engineer to join our team. We re looking for the right talent to ensure the success of our custom e-commerce and back-office applications. He/She should have hands-on expertise on PHP and Server technologies in a leadership role with at least 5 years of experience on these technologies. The ideal candidate would be expected to possess excellent command over communication, since the role will require him to work in sync with the US team. This is a very special position to us, and therefore, it will also need to be for you. The position provides for much autonomy because we believe creativity flourishes when autonomy is provided. We are building a global center of technology excellence with plans to take over the worldwide photo market.

Hands-on Development

• This is a hands-on role to start, our goal is to first impart to you our business needs and requirements; you will then be asked to build, hire, and lead a team in accordance with those needs.

Code Standards and Review

• Ensure code from other team members matches requirements
  
• Ensure code is consistent and easy to understand/modify in the future
  

Source Control Workflow

• Enforce standards and best practices for commits, messaging, merges, pull requests, etc.

• Successful merge, test, sign off, release, and support of code is the responsibility of this role
